Old Family Photo: Who Could It Be

Old Family Photo: Who Could It Be

July 1, 2008 by joewatts

Please help! This is an old slide, I suspect from the 1920’s or 1930’s. I’m just not sure who this is. I suspect, but don’t know, that the boy in the photo is Uncle Bud. I really don’t even know where this might have been taken. Perhaps at the log cabin behind the house in Octagon?

The photo was not really in the best of shape, but a little playing around and I was able to get this much at least.

I just looked at your blog again! The log playhouse is the one we played in as children. It was in the front yard by the swing at one time and at another time located in the back yard behind the “big room”. I’m not sure which place was the original location. I am sure you probably don’t remember it but Suzanne and I played in it for many hours during our childhood – probably Julia too! We climbed on top of it and jumped off. It seemed so high at the time! No idea who the girl sitting on the porch is though.
