Waffles!

Several years ago, Ann bought a waffle maker for me for Christmas. I love it! We had buttermilk waffles with fresh Chilton County peaches (thanks Madeline) in a maple syrup sauce. The waffle recipe comes from Cooks Illustrated–my favorite food magazine. The liquid is club soda; the buttermilk comes from buttermilk powder. The club soda keeps the waffles lighter and crispy. Delicious! (photo is from my Ipad, so not very good…)

Desoto State Park Birding Trip

A spring trip to Desoto State Park before heading on to Little River Canyon and a meeting of the Appalachian Highlands Birding Trail group at the Canyon Center. I remember going here as a child with my siblings and mother and father. Great times were had along the trails at Desoto State Park–every single trail…. Thanks Mama!

RC&D 2012 Brochure

The Alabama Association of RC&D Councils needed a quick brochure to carry with them to Wisconsin to pitch Alabama as a location for the next RC&D conference location. Nothing fancy, but a quick turnaround project for a long-time client.

AARC Website Redesign

Another website–this one hasn’t been rolled out yet, but it is close to complete. As with all my recently done websites, this one is a WordPress based site. This one includes several new features for the website: a simple-to-use calendar of events section and an easy to update news section.

Wilcox County Chamber Website

Still in progress, but moving right along, is this website for the Wilcox County Chamber of Commerce. Beautiful location with so much history and natural scenery. (Several photos from a few years back when I took the Gee’s Bend Ferry.)
