Amazing Old Hinson Family Photo

December 30, 2012 by joewatts

Have taken a little time off this holiday season and have been scanning old family photos. Brother-in-law Bill Till found this particularly awesome photo of my grandmother, Sadie Hinson, in his ancestry research. Never seen it before. (She is the one with the guitar)

My Father and Nash Cars

July 14, 2012 by joewatts

Found this photo the other day stuck in the back of a box of my old school photos (those probably won’t be scanned in–they weren’t really from my “cute” period).

Thought it was an interesting shot…. (Clark Watts, my father, standing just to the right of the Nash logo–below him, my Aunt Marguerite Skinner).

Old Family Photos: Aunt Gladys

July 25, 2011 by joewatts

Found this photo in a box that I didn’t know existed in our basement. A couple of other small treasures in it as well. I’ll scan those in later. For those new to this blog, my Aunt Gladys (my father Clark Watts’ sister) lived in Alaska for years in the 1930’s – 1950’s. This must be one of the older photos of her. She was a school teacher.

Happy Memorial Day to All the Folks Who Kept (and keep) Us Free

May 30, 2011 by joewatts

Missing my Dad on Memorial Day (and every day). He and his generation did so much for so few thanks. Thanks to all of them (though they are all gone now) for what they did in WWII.
