Birding at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Ann and I had an awesome day birding (and walking, and looking at the blooms) at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens today. Such a perfect day to be outside enjoying Alabama’s environment!
Birding Article in Outdoor Alabama
An article I wrote (with much help from Paul Franklin, the naturalist and avid birder who has been working with me on the Alabama Birding Trails project) for Outdoor Alabama was just published. Here’s a link to the PDF: http://www.outdooralabama.com/outdoor-alabama/BestAlaBirding.pdf
Also available, a slightly different version with links to each of the sites: http://www.alabamabirdingtrails.com/2013/10/30/birding-hotspots/
Birding Trail Signage
Another sign completed for the North Alabama Birding Trail; this one for the Cypress Cove Birding Site in northwest Alabama near Red Bay. All part of the Alabama Birding Trails project I’ve been working on for the last several years.
